HR Food Processing Private Limited owns and manages the websites and (“Platforms”). The Company is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. 

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is published in compliance with inter alia:

  • Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”);
  • Rule 4 of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“SPDI Rules”); and
  • Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011.

This Policy deals with information we collect in relation to our Platforms and explains:

  • What information We collect;
  • How We collect and use that information;
  • How You can provide information selectively, and how You can access and update this information; and
  • How We process, share and protect Your information.
  1. General
    1. The Platforms are owned and managed by HR Food Processing Private Limited (“We” or “Us” or “Our”), a company engaged in acquiring, chilling, transporting raw milk and manufacturing milk and milk products (“ Business”) with our office at Osam Dairy, House No. 448/A, Ground Floor, Near Argora Chowk, Road No. 04, Ashok Nagar Ranchi, Jharkhand 834002, India. This Policy applies to all current and former users and customers accessing or using Our Platforms, or otherwise engaging with us through email or other means (collectively, “You” or “Your”).
    1. The collection and processing of information in the course of carrying out Our Business, or other contractual or commercial engagements that We may enter into, will be done in accordance with the specific terms applicable thereto, and not by this Policy.
    1. By accessing or using Our Platforms or by otherwise giving Us Your information, You confirm that You have the capacity to enter into a legally binding contract and have read, understood and agreed to the practices and policies outlined in this Policy.
    1. You hereby consent to Our collection, use, sharing, and disclosure of Your information as described in this Policy.
    1. We may modify, add or delete from, this Policy from time to time, and Your continued access to, or use of the Platforms, will be deemed to be an acceptance of the said changes. If You do not agree with this Policy at any time, in part or as a whole, do not access/use the Platforms or services provided through the Platform, or provide Us with any of Your Information.
    1. If You are accessing or using the Platforms from any location outside India, You do so at Your own risk, and will be solely liable for compliance with any local laws, as may be applicable. 
  1. Information Collected and Method of Collection
    1. We may collect the following types of information about You, both through offline documentation that You may provide, as well as when You use Our Platforms:
  1. Personal data that You actively and voluntarily provide (e.g., when registering, contacting Us regarding Your inquiries or participating in surveys), including name, e-mail address, telephone number and information submitted as part of a support request, comments or forum posts;
  2. Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests; and
  3. Information that is automatically sent to Us by Your web browser or device, such as your IP-address, device type, browser type, referring site, sites accessed during your visit and the date and time of each visitor request.

In respect of building a business relationship with Us, We may collect and process the following categories of Your personal data as (prospective) customers, suppliers, vendors and partners (each, a Business Partner): 

  1. Contact information, such as full name, address, telephone number, mobile phone number, fax number and email address; 
  2. Payment data, such as data necessary for processing payments and fraud prevention, including credit/debit card numbers, security code numbers and other related billing information; 
  3. Further information necessarily processed in a project or contractual relationship with Us or voluntarily provided by the Business Partner, such as personal data relating to orders placed, payments made, requests, and project milestones; 
  4. Personal data collected from publicly available resources, integrity data bases and credit agencies; and
  5. If required under law, for Business Partner compliance screenings – date of birth, ID numbers, identity cards and information about relevant and significant litigation or other legal proceedings against Business Partners.

(Collectively, the above constitute “Information”).

    1. The IT Act and the SPDI Rules regulate the collection, usage, retention and disclosure of personal information, which is defined under the SPDI Rules as any information that relates to a natural person, which, either directly or indirectly, in combination with other information available or likely to be available to a body corporate, is capable of identifying such person (“Personal Information”).
    1. The SPDI Rules further define ‘Sensitive Personal Data or Information’ (“SPDI”) of a person as Personal Information about that person relating to:
  • passwords;
  • financial information such as details of bank accounts, credit cards, debit cards or other payment instruments;
  • physical, physiological and mental health condition;
  • sexual orientation;
  • medical records and history;
  • biometric information;
  • any detail relating to the above categories, as specified in this paragraph, as provided to the body corporate for providing services; and
  • any of the information received under the above categories, as specified in this paragraph, by a body corporate for processing, stored or processed under lawful contract or otherwise.
    1. Some of the Information collected by Us may qualify as Personal Information and SPDI.
    1. We understand that all Personal Information and SPDI provided by You to Us is voluntarily. Collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information and SPDI requires Your express consent, unless there are other legal grounds available to us to collect such information as further specified in this Policy. By using or accessing the Platforms or otherwise providing Us with Your Personal Information and SPDI, where applicable, You are providing Us with Your consent to Our use, collection, retention, transfer and disclosure of the Personal Information and SPDI in accordance with the terms of this Policy.
    1. In the event of a change in the law applicable to data protection in India, You hereby expressly consent to Our continued use, storage, collection and disclosure of Your Information including Personal Information and SPDI to the fullest extent permitted under such applicable law. We may reach out to You for obtaining additional consents and approvals as required under the amended law and You will be required to comply with such requests. Should You choose to not provide Us with such additional consents and approvals, We may have to discontinue your access to the Platforms.
    1. You may choose to not provide Us with or withdraw any or all information included under Personal Information and SPDI, but in the event that You do so, We may be unable to allow you to access the Platforms or otherwise avail services for the provision of which your information is being collected or processed.
    1. In case You have given Your consent for the processing of certain Information, including Personal Information and SPDI by Us, You have the right to withdraw the consent at any time, effective prospectively, i.e. the withdrawal of the consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on the consent before it was withdrawn. If the consent is withdrawn, We may only further process the Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, where there is another legal ground for such processing. 
  1. Use of Information
    1. We use the Information for the following purposes:
  1. To understand Your needs and provide them with better services;
  2. For internal record keeping;
  3. To improve Our products and services;
  4. Periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which You may find interesting using the email address which You have provided; 
  5. From time to time, We may also use the information to contact You for market research purposes. 
  6. Communicating with Business Partners about products, services and projects of Business Partners, e.g. by responding to inquiries or requests or providing You with technical information about purchased products;

Planning, performing and managing the (contractual) relationship with Business Partners; e.g. by performing transactions and orders of products or services, processing payments, performing accounting, auditing, billing and collection activities, arranging shipments and deliveries, facilitating repairs and providing support services;
  8. Administrating and performing customer surveys, marketing campaigns, market analysis, sweepstakes, contests, or other promotional activities or events;
  9. Conducting customer satisfaction surveys and direct marketing activities;
  10. Maintaining and protecting the security of Our products, services and websites, preventing and detecting security threats, fraud or other criminal or malicious activities; 
  11. Ensuring compliance with legal obligations (such as record keeping obligations), Business Partner compliance screening obligations (to prevent white-collar or money laundering crimes); and
  12. Solving disputes, enforce Our contractual agreements and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

If You wish to opt out of receiving communications such as information regarding the Platforms and/or any regulatory updates provided by Us, You may do so by contacting Us at or

    1. Our processing of Your Personal Information and SPDI in the context of Your visit to, and use of Our Platforms are based on Our legitimate interests to operate internet websites for general information and communication purposes, to optimize Our websites, and to protect it from attacks.
  1. Disclosure of the Information
    1. We are committed to ensuring that Your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, We have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the Information We collect online. 
    1. We disclose/ transfer Your Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, as the case may be, to third parties in the manner specified below:
  • Disclosing/ transferring Your Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, to third parties – e.g. sales partners or suppliers – in connection with Our business relationship with You;
  • Disclosing/ transferring Your Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, to third parties which provide IT services to Us and which process such data only for the purpose of such services (e.g., hosting or IT maintenance and support services); and/or
  • Disclosing/ transferring Your Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, to third parties in connection with complying with legal obligations or establishing, exercising or defending rights or claims, or pursuant to an order from a governmental entity or in good faith (e.g., for court and arbitration proceedings, to law enforcement authorities and regulators, to attorneys and consultants, to protect Our rights to property, prevent a crime or protect national security, protect the personal safety of users or the public).

Such third parties may include:

  • Any of Our agents, contractors or third party service providers that process or will be processing Your Information, on Our behalf, including but not limited to those which provide administrative or other services to Us such as mailing houses, telecommunication companies, information technology companies and data centres; and
  • Third parties, such as service providers sales partners and suppliers to whom disclosure by Us is for one or more of the Purposes and such third parties would in turn be collecting and processing Your Information including Personal Information for one or more of the Purposes.
  1. Third Party Links
    1. The Platform may contain links to third party websites and services. However, once You have used these links to leave our site, We do not have any control over that other website, which is operated and owned by persons or companies other than Us. Therefore, we are not responsible for any collection or disclosure of Your information by such companies or persons thereof and such sites are not governed by this Policy.
    1. Further, We are not liable for any loss or damage which may be incurred by You as a result of the collection and/or disclosure of Your information via third party websites and services. We shall not be liable for any disputes arising from or in connection with such transactions between You and the aforementioned third parties.

    1. We will not sell, distribute or lease personal information to third parties unless we have Your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use Your Personal Information to send You promotional information about third parties which might be of Your interest.
    1. We undertake to not disclose the Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, provided by You to any person unless such action is necessary to the extent required by law and for regulatory purposes. 
  1. Changes to Your Information
    1. You may review, correct, update, or change Your Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, on the Platforms by emailing Us at or 
    1. You may also request Us to delete Your Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, and We will comply with such requests within a reasonable time, unless We are required to keep certain Information for legal purposes.

Should You choose to delete Your Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, or modify it in a way that is not verifiable by Us, or leads to such Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, being incorrect, We will be unable to provide You with access to Our Platforms, and such a deletion or modification may be regarded as the user seeking to discontinue access to Our Platforms.
    1. We reserve the right to verify and authenticate Your identity and Your Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, in order to ensure accurate delivery of services through the Platform.
    1. Access to, or correction, updating or deletion of Your Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, may be denied or limited by Us if it would violate another person’s rights and/or is not otherwise permitted by applicable law.
  1. Security of Your Information
    1. We endeavour to maintain physical, technical and procedural safeguards that are appropriate to protect Your Information against loss, misuse, copying, damage or modification and unauthorized access or disclosure. Some of the security measures adopted by Us are:
  • We review Our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems; and
  • We restrict access to Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, to Our employees, agents and service providers who need to know that information in order to process it for Us, and who are subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations, and who may be disciplined or whose relationship with Us may terminate, if they fail to meet these obligations.

Further, We shall not be responsible for any breach of security or for any actions of any third parties or events that are beyond Our reasonable control including but not limited to acts of government, computer hacking, unauthorised access to computer data and storage device, computer crashes, breach of security and encryption, etc.
  1. Retention of Information
    1. We will put in place measures such that Your Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, which is in Our possession or under Our control, is destroyed and/or anonymized as soon as and in any case, within 5 (five) years of it being reasonable to assume that (i) the Purpose for which that Personal Information was collected is no longer being served by the retention of such Information, including Personal Information and SPDI; and (ii) retention is no longer necessary for any other reason including applicable law.

    1. We cannot ensure that all of Your Information, including Personal Information and SPDI, will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Policy. Therefore, although We are committed to protecting Your privacy, We do not promise, and You should not expect, that Your Information or private communications will always remain private. As a user of the Platforms, You assume all responsibility and risk for Your use of the Platform, the internet generally, and the information You post or access and for Your conduct on and off the Platforms.
  1. Indemnity 
    1. You agree and undertake to indemnify Us in any suit or dispute by any third party arising out of disclosure of information by You to third parties either through Our Platforms or otherwise, and Your use and access of websites, applications and resources of third parties. We assume no liability for any actions of third parties with regard to Your Information, Personal Information or SPDI which You may have disclosed to such third parties.
